Yuba County Library
On December 15, 1858 the Marysville Library Association deeded its collection to the city, creating one of the oldest public libraries west of the Mississippi. Nearly a century and a half later, the Yuba county library continues to make this treasure available to our community.
Friends of the Library
Over the years Friends’ donations have purchased books, subscriptions, furniture, equipment, microfilm readers, art and craft supplies, and much more. We have sponsored summer reading programs and year-round children’s events. We have supported and assisted in bringing literature and history events to our community
